Droog Design watches of Itay Noy at Ace Jewelers

The Israeli watch designer, Itay Noy has chosen Ace & Dik Jewelers as his exclusive dealer in Europe. Noy and Ben Joseph came into contact with each other when the latter read an article about the watches.’I was immediately taken with Noy’s work and when I contacted him, we clicked straight away’. Since the end of 2009, the exclusive timepieces have been available at Ace & Dik Jewelers in Amsterdam.

New Model
Both commercial and private collectors are interested in Noy’s designer watches: such as the two-sided Duality, the Fractal and the City Square. At this year’s fair in Basel, March 2010, Itay Noy will launch a new model, based on the idea of a hybrid and the blend of two kinds of information.

Itay Noy
Itay Noy studied at the Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design in Jerusalem, the Rietveld Academie in Amsterdam and the Design Academy in Eindhoven.

Noy is a professor of watch design at the Bezalel Academy and his work is seen in part at the C. Bronfman Collection in New York, the Droog Design- Collection in Amsterdam and the Israel Museum in Jerusalem.

Ace & Dik Jewelers
For more than 70 years, the van Baerlestraat has been home to a jewellery business. In 2003, the name of this jewellery company was changed to Ace & Dik.

Just like the other Ace Jewelers shops , Ace & Dik has its own style and unique collections.

In the summer of 2003, the shop was completely renovated, to comply with present-day safety requirements  for the  luxury jewellery trade.The Ace group also established the first eboutique in the Netherlands : where the Itay Noy collection is also presented.
