BaselWorld 2011 Preview: ORIS Swiss Hunter Team PS Edition

It was in 1994 that the Swiss Patrol pilots last performed in Hawker Hunters. Although it has since been withdrawn from service, this legendary plane continues to be flown by a group of keen former military pilots, the Swiss Hunter Team, sponsored by Oris. The brand has now brought out three tribute watches – two for women and one for men – reflecting the power of the plane and the perfection of its design. Every detail has been meticulously designed, from the high-performance Oris 733 movement to the knurled bezel, cockpit instrument inspired dial, and small seconds’ balance weight bearing the national emblem. The Team’s logo on the caseback evokes the inspiration behind this timekeeper and, in this way, helps keep the fabulous Hunter airborne.
