BaselWorld 2011 Trade Show Review: Day 2

Today was the second day that Team Ace visited BaselWorld in Basel, Switzerland. We also made a movie that you can see on www.AceJewelers.tv:

We started our day at Hamilton Watches that had a lot of news. This year they exist 120 years! Congrats! They launched a new calibre that was exclusively made by ETA bases on the Valjoux 7753 with a longer power reserve and is nicely decorated:

Following to that we visited Breitling and they launched a new caliber: The Breitling 04… This is the manufacture movement 01 with a GMT module. Great addition. It seems all brands went retro again this year and relaunched vintage style watches… Breitling launced a three hands Transocean. They also overhauled their 4 families into 10 categories. We will publish more info about it in approx. 6 weeks, for now some pics:

After Breitling we visted Longines and then made a lot of line extension and made a lot of steel/gold models, especially for ladies. On top of that they went wild with moon phase watches 🙂

After Longines we visited Omega and they had a lot of news and launched two new amazing manufacture movement, caliber 8500 and caliber 9300. They put these movements in many new models… To many to list here and we will try to upload a post dedicated to Omega soon… For now some snap shots:

Finally we visited TAG Heuer and they launced an amazing concept watch, that we unfortunately did not hold in our hands… But we did order very elegant new Carrera Heritage watches:
